Why SIPS?

Why would you use anything else!! Everyone at SIPS was so easy to work with for our project. Nothing was a problem. Our many questions were answered promptly.

The custom cut package enabled us to build the design we wanted.

The SIPS arrived on a truck from WA to NSW with a more than adequate supply of all the bits n pieces such as screws, membrane barrier & expanding foam. All the products supplied were of a high quality to match the SIPS.

The included detailed installation instructions, which really are "Lego for Adults" make it a breeze to build. Follow the numbers and you're good to go.

We had built with SIPS in the USA before and were a big part of our SIPS installation as owner builders. Our builders had a brief learning curve, they were suitably impressed with the ease and speed the walls and roof were up.

SIPS Performance

SIPS will out perform any "traditionally" built house or building in Australia, in terms of energy, insulation and general comfort. Our house at an elevation of 1300m is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, even without any accessory heating or cooling. What a great concept!

Until Australian Building Standards are upgraded to address energy and insulation (and they will eventually be upgraded), SIPS provide an excellent way to be ahead in construction and comfort of living, regardless of the environment you are in, be that hot, cold and everything in between.

There will be many more SIPS homes and buildings in Australia, as the Australian public becomes more educated and seeks out a building style that actually is comfortable to live in. Just build a SIPS structure and enjoy living comfortably.
